Ninja Sport Competition
We're excited to be hosting a NCL Season 6 Spring Competition at Sumter Ninja Warrior.
The Ninja Carolina League (NCL) is a league for Beginner, Advanced, and Pro Ninja Warrior athletes of all ages in the Carolinas. Beginners compete with beginners, advanced athletes with advance d athletes, and pros with pros in separate divisions determined by age, gender, and experience level. The Fall/Winter season will run from September to mid-January with finals in late January to determine its champions in each division. In the Spring season (February-April) there will only be beginner divisions as more advanced athletes will be aiming for the more national level competitions..
There are divisions for children starting at age 6 through masters division (40+) and every age in between. All divisions will be included in this event.
Our competition will follow NCL rules and age/categories based on your age as of January 1, 2025.

- 9:00 AM: 13U_beg /15U / 40+_beg / 16-39_beg divisions.(10 Total)
- 10:00 AM: 11U_beg (7 Total)
- 11:00 AM: 9U_beg (20 Total)
- 1:30 PM: 7U_beg (19 Total)
Note: There are currently no athletes signed up for the 40+_beg
We are thrilled to welcome you to the Ninja Carolina League Beginner Competition! For many of you, this will be your very first ninja competition, and we are excited to see you in action. Please read through the following details to ensure your day goes smoothly.
Arrival and Check-In:
- Please arrive 15-20min prior to your time. You will check in at the front lobby (the glass door facing Hobby Lobby.)
- After checking in, you may enter and exit through any door in the facility.
- Athlete Warm-Up: Warm-ups will take place in the gymnastics building near the front lobby. Please note that there will be no warm-up areas in the ninja gym. To keep the space safe, siblings are not permitted in the competitor warm-up area.
Obstacle Course Information: Friday evening/night video demonstrations of the obstacle course will be posted on the Sumter Ninja Warrior Facebook and Instagram pages. We encourage all athletes to watch the videos to familiarize themselves with the course. While there will be no formal walk-through, will be available to answer any questions competitors may have. Our ninja staff will also assist the ninjas with where to go next during their course run.
Awards and Redemption Time: Following each session, we will host an awards ceremony to recognize the top 3 male and top 3 female competitors in each age division. If time permits, we will also offer a redemption period, allowing competitors from the most recent session to retry the obstacles.
Spectators: Friends and family are welcome to attend free of charge! Seating is limited to the floor and a few benches and chairs will be reserved for those who need them.
Video and Photography: Each athlete is permitted one designated person to follow them during their run for video or photo purposes. Please tag us in your posts, we love to see them! We encourage all spectators to cheer loudly and support every athlete as they take on the course!
