This competition is specifically designed for individuals who have competed in three or fewer ninja competitions. All 7U Team members, regardless of number of competitions, are allowed to compete in a separate 7U Team division. The format will be identical to our North Central Ninja Series (NCNS) league rules. There will be approximately 10 obstacles, each with a halfway point. If an athlete falls on one obstacle, they simply move to the next one in the course. There will be a 4:00 minute time limit. The athlete with the highest number of points wins. If there is a tie in points, the athlete with the fastest time wins. The top 5 athletes in each division will podium. Course walkthroughs will be emailed out on January 10th at 5:00 PM for athletes to study.

This low stakes competition is the perfect opportunity for ninjas to showcase what they’ve been working on in a supportive and encouraging environment. Each athlete will have a coach on the floor with them during their run. Parents, grandparents, and family friends are encouraged to come cheer on athletes. The Beginners’ Competition will be livestreamed, so out of town relatives can tune in as well!
Below is the tentative schedule. Time slots are subject to change slightly depending on how many athletes per age group register.

3U (3 year olds):  9:00 AM
5U (4-5 year olds): 10:00 AM
7U  (6-7 year olds): 12:00 PM
7U Team: 1:30 PM
9U (8-9 year olds): 3:00 PM
11U (10 - 11 year olds): 4:30 PM
13U (12-13 year olds) and 14+: 6:00 PM
