International Ninja Grand Prix
The International Ninja Grand Prix (INGP) is an evolution from our Ninja World Cup last year.
Not only is it a rebrand for our Asian community who already have a Ninja World Cup (we didn't know that when we chose the name!), but it is a complete revamp of what a weekend of Ninja action involves.
The biggest change is to the format for the competition. Instead of a traditional competition where there is only one opportunity to compete on each stage of a solo competition, this year we're taking on the ambitious task of hosting THREE different formats over the weekend.
SOLO - a multi stage solo event where you get to test your ability against the course
SKILLS - a multi stage event where you get to test your skills across a variety of challenges
TEAM - an elite level team competition competing for the grand prize (thus the name, grand prix)
Not only that, but we are partnering with UNAA and FINA to provide even more value for our athletes through opportunities to qualify for their world expo 2025 in the USA.
There will be separate opportunities for International and Australian athletes to qualify for UNAA world expo, and there will also be limited roll downs to ensure maximum representation in the USA from those participating in the INGP.
As we're running 3 different formats, the registration is a little different to normal:
SOLO - You must purchase your ticket through Ninja Master and select INTERNATIONAL or AUSTRALIAN at registration (very important!).
SKILLS - You must send us your NinjaWorks id (not Ninja Master) so we can ensure qualification for FINA.
TEAM - initially, we are only opening up 8 teams of 4 athletes. Registration for the team event is NOT included in this ticket. You will need to register separately for your team ticket through GymMaster (our in house software).
