Ninja Warrior Competition
The
Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) is one of the largest and most established ninja warrior style obstacle course racing leagues in the world. We're excited to be hosting the third ever
World Ninja Athlete Games at Iron Sports. We'll have two courses set up one course for ages 11 & under and another course for ages 12 & over. This does not mean all 11U athletes will be competing against each other but they will all be running the same course. For example; 7U and 9U will still be grouped together but will be running the 11U course.

Our competition will follow UNAA rules and age/classes based on your age as of January 1, 2023.
We will have the courses set up in advance at the gym the week for you to come and practice on before your main timed run. You will only be allowed ONE timed run on the course through ninjamasterapp.
What do you get?
Similar to a UNAA Qualifier top 3 at each gym (in each age group) will qualify for UNAA Regionals which Iron Sports will be hosting May 27th & 28th (save the dates).
Top 10 on the WORLD leaderboard will qualify straight to UNAA Worlds in ORLANDO, FL July 26th - 30th as well as top 3 get a World Champion medal sent to them by UNAA (Iron Sports will not have these world champion medals) after all runs are confirmed.
Since this is a world wide competition we host this a bit differently at Iron Sports since you're trying to qualify on the world leaderboard. Athletes will be running this course all week long March 4th - 12th and have the option to run their timed course during class or a weekend time slot.

UNAA Rules will be used for this event. You will see the points listed on right in list below. In UNAA rules, a halfway point on any 2 point obstacle indicates a 1 point completion, not a fail.
Course for ages 7U / 10 min time cap
- QUINTUPLE STEPS – 3ft corner to corner (16ft in length)
- 4” PVC Roller x 6ft
- 20ft Horizontal rope climb (sloth crawl) to Rings- 4ft gaps only = 32 ft (must be 9 rings)
- Peg Board- Static pegs placed in any holes on one side of the pegboard only. Must travel 6ft
- Rope Climb- 8ft—must have bell 8ft measured above last pad
- 100ft Run
- Quintuple Steps
- 10ft Balance Beam- elevated 24”- 3ft dismount to the landing platform.
- Grips – 4ft gap for 20ft (must have 6 grips)
Laches –40ft at 4ft gaps (THIS GROUP SKIPS THIS)- Rope Climb- 8ft—must have bell 8ft measured above last pad
- 100ft Run
- Quintuple Steps
- 4”PVC Roller x 6ft
- Cliff Hanger x 16ft to ring bell 1ft beyond and 1ft above last rail on cliffhanger board
- Horizontal rope climb to Rings- 4ft gaps only = 32 ft (must be 9 rings)
- Rope Climb- 8ft—must have bell 8ft measured above last pad
- 100ft Run---hit buzzer
Course for ages 9U and 11U / 10 min time cap
- QUINTUPLE STEPS – 3ft corner to corner
- 4” PVC Roller x 6ft
- 20ft Horizontal rope climb to Rings- 4ft gaps only = 32 ft (must be 9 rings)
- Peg Board- 6ft must travel 6ft with each peg
- Rope Climb-12ft—must have bell 12ft measured above last pad
- 100ft Run
- Quintuple Steps -

Course for ages 12+ / 10 min time cap
- QUINTUPLE STEPS – 3ft corner to corner
- 4” PVC Roller x 6ft
- Horizontal rope climb to Rings- 4ft gaps only = 32 ft (must be 9 rings)
- Peg Board- 12ft total- Must be roundtrip, with pegs to last two holes , then returned to original two holes
- Rope Climb- 15ft—must have bell 15ft above last pad (12 ft rope exception listed in details)
- 100ft Run
- Quintuple Steps -
- 10ft Balance Beam- elevated 24”- 3ft dismount to the landing platform.
- Grips – 4ft gap for 20ft (must have 6 grips)
