This event is hosted by Ninja\U in Cedar Falls and is sanctioned by UNAA. It will be on Sunday, June 5th, 2022. You must have qualified at a UNAA qualifier to register for this competition. To verify qualification, check results here.

Regionals will advance the TOP 3 or TOP 20% from each class to World Finals. This will be held in Las Vegas from July 21-23, 2022 at The ORLEANS Arena and Casino Resort Hotel.

Category Rules
You must be 6 or older to compete in UNAA.  Age is determined on how old they are on January 1, 2022 for ALL age groups.  This is in coordination with Ninja USA,  the NGB to meet the requirements of Olympic inclusion. 

All athletes for the 2021-22 Season 7 shall compete in their appropriate class. Any athletes in the Age group classes may move up to the next age group if they so choose. Once they have moved up to that class, they MUST remain in that class for the duration of the year. Each course is age appropriate and if an athlete competes up – no accommodations will be made for height adjustments.

Athletes must CHOOSE ONE Class to compete in and will remain in that class for duration of the season.    13+ may compete in Amateur or Pro class if they so choose,  but will HAVE to remain in the that class for duration of season.     

Competing in multiple classes in NOT allowed!

Spectators  
Cost is $5 at the door.
Spectators must sign a waiver. It is best to do this ahead of time. www.ninjau.com/waiver. Young kids spectating may play in our Little Ninjas area.

Please do not come to the gym if you or your child are coughing, sneezing, have a temperature, or are feeling sick. If you have been around someone who is Covid positive we also ask that you stay home. If you have underlying health conditions or are 60+ years old, we encourage you to stay home.

Everyone must use hand sanitizer when entering the building. Liquid chalk is recommended for competitor use due to its high alcohol content for sanitizing. We will be selling small bottles of liquid chalk for $6 or large bottles for $18.

The final schedule and run orders will be emailed out ahead of time. We use Ninja Master app so you can follow results  the day of the competition. 

The course walk-through will be a video instead of in person. We will share videos with everyone the night before the competition via email.

General climbing chalk and general athletic tape are allowed. We recommend liquid chalk as it is alcohol-based so also acts as a sanitizer. Ninja\U does sell small liquid chalk bottles for $6 and large for $18. 

There will be a prize table for all podium winners to select from!

We will have our usual snacks & beverages for sale at the front desk. There are many awesome restaurants surrounding our location.

Participants may attend open gym on the day before (Saturday) anytime between 10-3pm for $12 admission. (No open gym appointments are necessary! Just have your Ninja\U waiver done & come on in!) We will be closing at 3pm on Saturday to begin cleaning & set up for the competition.
